Graduation bashful

hey all my bashful trainee:

Congragulation guys, all of your had completed the Basic NCO course.This two month really allow us to really bond as one. We laugh,we joke,we cry and even endure through all the obstacles in camp together. From the first course day all the way till here from a blur trainee till a trainee that is already ready to hold a lance corporal rank i see the tremdouse improvement and growth of your and i'm really glad and proud of your. Being with your is really a memorable experience i'm sure i would really miss you guys esp every weekend and to tell your i have never regretted being your platoon sergent. Yu ting congrats you really desever the best trainee title.After passing out from the course you will be consider as a junior NCO le so do lead your trainee well be a good leader k .Remember this there isn't any lousy follower however there is only lousy leader.Determination and perserverance will lead to success.("<)

Time passes fast and you have all completed the two month course and now you guys will go for your last laps which is your POP. Attendance is compulsory pls let me know in advance if you really can't make it.Thx
The following will be the detail for the POP

Venue: St'john ambulance singapore (Headquaters)
Time : 7.30am --- 6.30pm
Attire :Half uniform (pls bring along your full uniform too)

General reminders

• 1.5 l of ice mountain watter bottle
• Cash (lunch will not be provided so you had to bring enough cash to eat k )
• name tag and course tag
• half-uniform pls wear basic t-shirt

i have viewed the comment posted and i'm here to explain everything. About that incident,i had to listen to the both side story before i can come out with a conclusion.I have listen to yours of course i have to listen to them in order to be fair with my final answer.My conclusion for this incident seriously is just simply a misunderstanding you guys can really tried to sort it out among yourselves la k .In additional to that i strongly believe that bashful is not like that i do trust your,cause you guys are under me right you are so wonderful(",) . I believe in you guys and have never suspect you before pls believed in this. However for the camp you guys really perform fantastic k do rest well and prepare yourselve for the coming POP and graduate from Basic NCO course. Bashful you guys really rocks my life for this Two month together.Thx alot

2nd Examination day: 10 dec 2006

hey bashful trainess,

Got home a little early today so intended to give you guys some comment about today course. About the course today seriously i strongly feel that you guys have improved tremedously comparing to the first day.I also do feel that you guys are reaching to a standard of a BNCO trainess so GOOD JOB guys i do believed your did put in lots of hard work , sweat and intiative so keep it up k.("<).However there is something i hope you guys would really take note when you are as a course, work as a course don't work as individual platoon like today afternoon, is not really nice esp to the other platoon they would feel left out so pls kindly spare a thought for them.

Another important stuff i would like your to take note is the platoon discussion/meeting stuff. As what i have said today no matter what platoon discussion pls go, they need you guys to help them to plan out the stuff. If you couldn't make it pls inform your two admin IC, admin IC then inform me and your coordinator. I do not wish to see anyone absent without a valid reason ,you are a platoon so work as one.Admin IC pls also pass the msg down to individual person in our platoon in case of communication break down k.pls pls pls coordinate with your overall coordinator their job is not easy so pls help them.

Okay think that all i hope to comment about.

Fifth course day: 2nd December 2006

Hey all bashful trainess

For the fouth course day performace serious i'm quite satisfied and feel you guys have already improve alot compared to the first and second course day and i strongly believed that you had really put in your effort as a platoon, so keep it up k . but yet as commented by your other instructors you guys are still not up to the standard of an Basic NCO trainee so of course there are rooms for improvemnet lo. So suggestion i could like to make ,for example

• Answering all your PS ,PC and IC with very clear , LOUD tone and as a whole platoon
• Make your action fast and quick
• When timing have to be given ,give as a whole platoon
• When instructors or officers give you guys maybe e.g 10s, pls echo loudly and count down as a platoon (Always)
• Take intiative to do things and care for you platoon mates. For Example , Help your IC take his stuff when he is requried to carry out certian duties issues by us / Help your friend that has went to the toilet to carry their stuff when instructions is given to move from one place to another

Bashful platoon for the greeting of officers and instructors i find you guys really do an excellent job,do keep it up

About me!!!!!

About foot drilled lesson for each course day, i'm really sorry if i teach you guys the wrong stuff. In order for your to learn better i will try combined you guys with dopey platoon always such that if really i teach wrong there is still your Ma'am Pei qi to correct me or even teach your a better way.Really sorry about that.

My oberservation for foot-drilled

• You guys when doing marching ,swing your hand 90 degress to the front and 45 degree to the back k
• Lift you leg 90 degree up , and toes pointing down
• Land with your toes first when you want bang
• So with all this obervation ,go home practise and trained k and i really hope to see great improvement the next course day K . You guys sure can make it as long as your put in the effort i belived you guys can.So don't disappoint me okay (">)

Uniform

For uniform wise, pls for girls ,that your ma'am Zaharah have spotted or i have told you that your skirt is too short pls change it by next course day.Guys although you have long pants covering your socks i will still be going to check your socks so wear black colour socks no other or even ankle socks . Pls Polish your boots , season and dust your beret.For those who don't have the backing for the crest pls also make ajustmnet in it. From the next course day onward we will be super strict on the uniform pls ensure that you are up to the standard. tHX

• Those who do not have any red lable on your water bottle pls come and find me before the course start to get your red tape .
• Write you name on the Ice-mountain watter bottle (label have to be removed)
• Pls also go through your home nursing notes you will be doing Home Nursing the coming saturday.

Last sunday was a dramatic improvement compared to saturday ,once again well done and do keep up the good work. Time have pass so quickly that we are coming to the third course day. There is a certain expectation that we would really hope that you guys will uphold ,firstly is to greet all officers and sgt as and when you see us(salute all officers as long as you are in Full-unifrom with or without beret) .Secondly pls pls pls polish your boots and ammend the mistake on your uniform that have been pointed out by your sir daniel.Thirdly also make your action fast and reponse loud.

According to Jun yan comment for those who had already laminated your course tag but yet to trim your photo i think you just leave it as it is ba. Cause there is really nothing you can do unless you want to remove the lamintion ,then trim the photo than laminated back.But seriously i dun think there is a need ba for those photo that only cover the line. However if you cover the word COMPLETELY OR HALF i'm sorry that one you really have to do something to it le. Yup that all.

regarding the missing out of lesson dun worry. The lesson we had today was regarding the types of parade , Unifrom standarization ,knowlege of order of st'john and lastly CPBS.As for the lesson notes wise you can lent it from your platoon mates or frens. Not sure you can come forward and ask me and i try help if i could so dun worry.Go home revise on it okay.

On foot drilled wise, also if you really couldn't catch up me or your sgt gek min will try to coach you personally. so it would not be a big problem. However try not to be absent again k.("<)

My opinion and expectation for 19 Nov 2006

Today course is quite horrible. Pls i really need to stress the importance of sense of urgency, teamwork, and inntiative in doing work.People pls pls pls reply anyone who is speaking to you infront,greet all instructors as and when you see them even at the Bus-stop and pls march or run as a platoon from place to place.I really hope that i can see a great improvemnet tomorrow,pls dun disappoint us again we trust you guys k. I'm also apologising for teaching your the wrong drill and i know i have no reason to make this mistake since i'm a instructors so i'm here sincerly apologising for that.In additional to that if today you felt that i have been too rude in scolding i'm also here to tell your a sorry i really had to make your lift up the expectation and follow the disiplinary rules and regulation.

Everyone should be tired by now ..... take a good rest and see your tomorrow.

I'm so sorry we strictly want 1.5l Ice- mountain water bottle there is no bargaining on that . There is 7 eleven and cheers all around i'm sure you can get it from this places. The reason why i insist on you bring 1.5l ice-mountain water bottle is because everybody is bringing, if i allow you to bring others it will not be fair to those who especially went to buy. In additional to that i have posted online for about a week for wanting you guys bringing 1.5l ice-mountain water bottle plus last week routine order have also announce so by right you should have buy it earlier. I'm sorry you really have to get it by tomorrow or i'm afraid we have to record it down under discipline.

About the assembly time being change as well i'm not really sure yet cause is yet to be confirm we will only know tomorrow during Course. If i'm not wrong they will announce it during the last parade under the routine order section. Most probably it will be change till 8am. Will see how tomorrow okay. As from the comment leave by junyan brush black of boots meaning, we do not want to see white,dirty stain on the boots.The boots itself have to be brush till it has a dark black look and if better a little shiny.That will be enough.You do not requried to polish your boots till you can see the reflection of your teeth.Thx for the comment junyan.So if anyone wants to ask anything feel free to post on the blog.

The following are the general reminders for things you had to bring for each course day and rules and regulation of the platoon.

General Reminders :Thing to bring each course day

• 1.5L of ice-mountain waterbottle with Red label

Rules and regulations

• you have to be always punctual for course
• Respest everyone in the platoon
• Non-tolerance for disrespect to any officers and instructors
• We aspect that you will always have a sense of urgency in course
• Disciplinary have to be there all the times
• Things that are requried to be completed at a certain time have to be completed
• Going from place to place, platoon have to move in an orderly manner.[ either you march as a platoon or jog/run as a platoon IC on that day take charge]
• Uniform should always be in tip-top condition.
• Answering of any questions to officers and instructors have to be loud ,clear and as a whole
• You have to greet all instructors that passer by you as and when you see them. [ In full uniform and beret on salute when you are greeting OFFICERS only ]
